THE FESTIVAL STILLS

Here are some stills or snapshots of QUINTESSENCE appearing in movies from the 70s.

The first batch is from the film of STAMPING GROUND where QUINTESSENCE appear next to the Superstars of the era, like Santana, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, Soft Machine, Pink Floyd, and others. This is a concert documentary of a huge Open Air event at Kralingen near Rotterdam in Holland 1970. In the film Quintessence perform an edited version on the song GIANTS. The second batch are snapshots from the film GLASTONBURY FAIR, the famous documentary of the festival from 1971.

HOLLYWOOD FESTIVAL, Newcastle-under-Lyme 23 and 24 May 1970

Besides Quintessence played many well-known bands such such as The Grateful Dead, Airforece, Family orTraffic. Quintessence played on May 24.
